Megan Hull is a content specialist who edits, writes and ideates content to help people find recovery. As a Florida born-and-raised writer with a family history of addiction, Megan is driven by her desire to connect people to treatment that works. As a writer and editor for The Recovery Village, she has covered various aspects of addiction trends and treatment, including the opioid crisis and the importance of individualized, co-occurring care. She has also written extensively about the way substance use disorders impact specific communities, including firefighters, paramedics, adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals and veterans.
Since graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2015, Megan has created video, web and social media content for various health care industry professionals, including general practitioners, dermatologists, cardiologists and mental health specialists. Her work for The Recovery Village gives her the opportunity to speak directly to addiction treatment providers, as well as the graduates they’ve helped. The courage, passion and dedication of these individuals inspire her to continue to create content that encourages others to seek recovery.
